Ugly Bunny (Contest)

I have a yarn problem...the problem is I can never gauge how much of a "tail" I need to sew a project together. So, inevitably, I have a lot of bits leftover.

A few months ago it was suggested to me that I tie all the bits together and create one large continuous ball of yarn bits. So, I did.

I hadn't decided yet what I would do with them...until this project came along.

This Ugly Bunny is made from the ball of yarn ends and bits. Some bits were much longer than others (as you can see by the smaller ear which is entirely red...but, yes, it comes from the same ball of yarn ends).

This project is also stuffed with yarn ends that hadn't yet made it to the ball (the current ball is pictured below the Bunny). I left all the tied together ends intact which gives it fuzzy places which could mimic pins (as the original was designed as a pin cushion).
